FORBIDDEN SYNOPSIS

On her wedding anniversary, Dr. Jaelyn Bennett shares her worries about her husband Peter with her colleague Dr. Mateo Martinez.  Not really in a meeting as he told his wife, Peter is cheating on Jaelyn with Caden Nelson, a sexy model who’s becoming nationally famous. When Peter rushes from their hotel room to get home to Jaelyn for their anniversary dinner, he accidentally leaves his wedding ring behind. Caden finds it and keeps it for himself.

Upon returning home from the hospital, Jaelyn is overjoyed to see Peter, who has quickly put together a late dinner to celebrate their anniversary. After dinner, as they retire to their bedroom, Jaelyn discovers that Peter has lost his wedding ring, bringing a sudden end to their anniversary celebration.

Later, Caden tells his best friend Luke Monroe about his encounter with Peter. When Luke realizes the passion with which Caden talks about Peter, he warns his friend to be careful. Insisting his time with Peter was merely a hookup, Caden assuages Luke's fears even though he secretly plans to find out more about Peter.

Meanwhile, Luke’s father Gary, head of Monroe Enterprises, plans his wedding to Mateo. Recently driven from the company for betraying his father, Luke works alongside his cousin Dexter to build a new company of their own.

Frustrated by the events of her anniversary, Jaelyn reaches out to Peter's brother Erik. When they meet for coffee, Jaelyn questions Erik about Peter's behavior and shares that lately Peter seems distant and distracted. Calming his sister-in-law's concerns, Erik assures Jaelyn that Peter still loves her deeply. When the conversation turns to Erik's relationship, he reveals that things between his boyfriend Dante and him continue to be rocky.

At his hospital office, Mateo is visited by his future stepson Jesse, with whom he is having a secret affair. Immediately, Jesse takes Mateo into his arms and kisses him passionately. Across town, Dexter pays an unexpected visit to Erik.

Hoping that a child may bring Peter and her closer together, Jaelyn decides to stop taking her birth control medication and seduces her husband in a night of passion. Outside, while searching the neighborhood for Peter’s residence, Caden is violently attacked, leaving his bloody body lying on the sidewalk.
